“When someone you love is struggling with Substance Use Disorder, you feel overwhelmed and alone. What do you do, where do you turn, how do you help, how do you get your own life back? Road2RecoveryCNY’s Resource Night helped me connect with people in the same situation, offered tips and advice, and gave me coping tools I could use. Extremely useful.”
“The R2RCNY Resource Night helped us to release our guilt from our son’s addiction. It also helped us to connect with other families who were going through the same thing, which helped us see we were not alone. It helped because we could talk to other people who understood exactly what we were going through.”
“The R2RCNY Resource Night made us aware that we were not alone in the wide range of challenges we were facing in dealing with a loved one experiencing addiction. The information presented, support, and resources available were extremely beneficial to addressing recovery for the entire family. The discussions on co-dependency and the enabling behaviors of family members in dealing with a loved one experiencing addiction were extremely informative. They started us on a path to initiate changes in our family’s approach and behaviors in dealing with a loved one experiencing addiction.”

“The R2RCNY Resource Night was a wonderful experience. Looking back, I think it was pivotal in our journey to better understand addiction and allowed us to find fellowship with others who faced similar challenges. I will always remain grateful to R2RCNY for their continued assistance to those struggling with addiction, and for also supporting their families.”
